Job Description

Receptionists are accountable for the reception area at the spa. In the absence of the Spa Manager, the receptionist is the highest position in the spa facility as long as the tasks of the Spa Manager to be done were taught and endorsed properly. He or she is expected to greet all the guests with warmth and poise. One is expected to maintain the spa appointments by accurately making them as well as cancellations. Another primary job description of a receptionist is to be well-versed with the different spa packages, services, treatments, latest offers, etc. so as to be able to provide adequate information to the clients of the spa. In case of special seasonal offers and discounts, the spa receptionist is also expected to communicate with the clients and ask them to grab hold of the available offers. Such calls are always welcome by clients and they also become long-term customers.  They are also expected to take client satisfaction feedback and are to pass-on the feedback to the Spa Manager/Owner. They should also be able to handle dissatisfied clients.

Mont Albo Massage Hut therapists are responsible in relaxing one’s body. Therapists are equipped with enough knowledge to help release stress and help circulate blood freely by massaging the body.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Help customer relax by giving massage treatments and massage accordingly as to what the client prefers (Soft, Moderate or hard).
  • Use appropriate rubbing liquids, and other massage equipments efficiently.
  • Prepare the room for the guest; assist them to their designated rooms.
  • Prepare the client’s toiletries, oils and lotion and other necessity for aroma therapy.
  • Advising the customer suitable massages according to what they want.
  • Maintains and increase knowledge of massage therapy treatment by sharing technique skills with fellow staff during in-house instruction, and education /training classes.
  • Presents a professional, well groomed appearance; provided uniforms must be worn at all times in the Spa and must be laundered and presses.
  • Works effectively with co-workers, customers and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; listening to and objectively considering and suggestions from others.
